Queen Bey will be serving up some LEMONADE at the CMA Awards tonight.
At least, that seems to be the word, according to “Good Morning America,” who shared the news in a since-deleted tweet.
“JUST IN: @Beyonce will perform tonight at the CMA Awards at 8 7c on @ABC! #CMAawards50 @CountryMusic,” the show tweeted before taking the post down.
What will ‘Yoncé perform? That remains a mystery for now. A promo for the show offered up only a hint of what’s to come. “Be there for the first eight minutes when we make country music history,” the ad said.
Speculation is running rampant. Some believe Bey and the Dixie Chicks will open the show with “Daddy Lessons.” The country trio covered the LEMONADE song earlier this year.
A surprise award show set wouldn’t be her first of the year. Fans may recall she shocked viewers at the BET Awards when she unexpectedly came out with Kendrick Lamar to perform “Freedom.”
The 50th Annual CMA Awards will air live tonight at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
