Following recent collaborations with Danny Brown and Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar switches lanes and joins Maroon 5 on “Don’t Wanna Know,” an infectious single off the band’s upcoming album.

While Adam Levine reminisces about an ex, K-Dot reminds his girl what she’s been missing. “Do he do you like this? Do he woo you like this? Do he lay it down for you, touch you, pull you like this?” he asks. “You may be his right now, but your body still me.”

A music video, directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), is set to premiere Friday on NBC’s “Today.” The group is also scheduled to perform “Don’t Wanna Know” on “Ellen” on Nov. 3.

This isn’t the first collaboration between Kendrick and the Maroon 5 frontman. In 2013, they both teamed up with The Lonely Island in the “SNL” digital short “YOLO.”

Next up, Kendrick is set to join Mary J. Blige on a remake of Bruce Springsteen’s “American Skin (41 Shots),” a track about police brutality that MJB previewed while interviewing Hillary Clinton on “The 411.”
