Beyoncé goes out with a bang.
Capping off one of the year’s biggest worldwide treks, Queen Bey delivered a star-studded finale to her “Formation World Tour” on Friday (Oct. 7) at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
Fans, including Frank Ocean, Hugh Jackman, Tyler Perry, Misty Copeland, and more, looked on all night as Beyoncé delivered show-stopping surprises, including appearances by Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Serena Williams.

With a career-spanning set, Bey was joined by her husband during “Drunk in Love” for a warm, playful, and sexy duet, one that included a hug and a kiss at the end. Meanwhile, K-Dot came through for the fiery “Freedom” while splashing in the water-filled set. Serena also surprised fans, acting as a dancer for “Sorry” in real life, much like she does in the song’s video.

This wasn’t originally set to be the tour’s finale. However, Beyoncé was making up for postponing this stop last month. During the set, she paused to thank the crowd.
“I have so much energy because of you guys feeding it to me,” she explained. “I really wanted to make this show special…This is definitely my dream right here. I dreamt that I would be doing this and I’m actually doing it, and I could not be here without you and your support.”
But even before Beyoncé’s set, the surprises arrived. DMX and Ja Rule were among those in attendance and prior to the show, they were photographed alongside Jay and DJ Khaled. Sans Khaled, it was a throwback to the trio’s days as Murder Inc.
Once Khaled hit the stage, he brought more surprises with cameos from Ma$e, T.I., Ja Rule, August Alsina, Young M.A., Fetty Wap, Remy Ma, The LOX, and A Boogie.

Queen Bey may be done with the “Formation World Tour,” but there could be more music on the horizon. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are rumored to be releasing a joint project in the near future.
