Four years after Drake University students in Des Moines, Iowa launched their “Bring Drake to Drake” campaign, their wish was granted. Sadly, many of them slept through it.
On Tuesday (Oct. 4), Drizzy was in town for a performance. Students gathered in the quad, hoping for a visit from the 6 God, but when he didn’t show, they dispersed.

However, in the middle of the night, after reppin’ the school on stage at his concert with a Drake U jacket he was gifted, Drake paid them all a visit. He snapped a pic of himself on top of a university sign and shared videos of it all on Instagram’s stories platform.
“Look, Kappa Kappa Gamma,” he said in one clip. “I’m outside your sorority house right now and you’re all ‘sleep.”
He did the same in front of Kappa Alpha Theta’s house to no avail. “We out here, waiting on you,” Drake added. “We’re waiting on you!”
Kappa Kappa Gamma shared a video of their own this morning in hopes that Drizzy would return. “This could have been you last night,” a sorority member says, before touring the home. They also shared this message on Instagram:
“@champagnepapi sorry we missed you last night!!! We have breakfast if you want to come on back #drakecametodrake #butwewereasleep.”
