The saga continues. Just a day after Lil Wayne vowed to never work with Birdman again, new details are emerging over Tha Carter V.

Cash Money insiders say Wayne has not turned in his long-awaited album and therefore, they cannot release it. Birdman is reportedly unhappy with the narrative that he’s the reason the LP won’t drop, as per TMZ.

However, Wayne insiders say that the album is complete and ready for release. Weezy will hand it over once their financial dispute is settled.

But don’t expect to see it leak on the Internet. Wayne apparently won’t ever let it go for free.

Weezy — who is suing Cash Money for $51 million — has said that he’s still owed $8 million for the Tha Carter V’s advance and another $2 million for its completion. The report claims that $10 million along with “a few more million for past Young Money album sales” would expedite the LP’s release.

In the wake of his Cash Money feud, Weezy has threatened retirement, but he’s not quite ready to hang up the mic.

“If that [tweet] was at 3:30 [a.m.], I probably was at the studio at 6,” he said this week on FS1’s “Undisputed.” “The height of my talent or the height of my career, I haven’t reached that at all.”
