Post Malone is saying sorry.

In a letter to fans, the “White Iverson” star explained that he understands the frustration after his debut album Stoney, slated for Aug. 26, never came out.

“I know everyone is mad at me right now,” he wrote. “I’d be mad too. Due to a couple of different issues, my album couldn’t be finishing on the date I promised. I’m disappointed in myself and my whole team.”

He also went on to reference his May mixtape August 26 in the lengthy Instagram apology.

“I been talking all this shit, even made a mixtape about a date that has no significance,” he continued. “I couldn’t deliver on my word. There’s no excuse. I needed everything to be perfect for y’all and I fucked up somewhere along the way.”

Nevertheless, Malone promised once more that “the album is coming” and that “pre-order will be available soon.”

Malone rose to prominence last year with the release of “White Iverson.” The viral hit catapulted him to fame and landed him on the “Purpose World Tour” with Justin Bieber, who is featured on “Déjà Vu” off Stoney.
