Nelly is diamond up in herre.
The Recording Industry Association of America has awarded the St. Louis rapper a diamond certification for his debut album Country Grammar, which produced a series of hits, including “Country Grammar (Hot Shit),” “Ride Wit Me,” and “E.I.”
The 2000 album’s new level of honor is also a major deal because it is only the eighth hip-hop LP to receive the distinction, following behind albums like Tupac’s All Eyez On Me, and Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show.

The diamond certification is presented after a song or album receives more than 10 million U.S. sales and streams.
Diamonds appear to be piling up for Nelly. The same night, he earned another diamond award for his Florida Georgia Line collaboration “Cruise.”
“DAMMM,” Nelly wrote in a caption displaying this honor. “NOT BAD FOR A BOY FROM STL..!!”
