It’s “Dre Day” indeed.

On Monday, Dr. Dre was handcuffed outside of his Malibu home after a man claimed the Beats mogul pulled a gun on him. Today, the gun case was rejected by the Los Angeles County District Attorney, according to TMZ.

It’s unclear how the feud began, but some reports say it stemmed from a road rage incident. Police were called to the scene after the motorist claimed Dre pulled a gun on him. After a search, police did not find a weapon on the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, who was handcuffed during the investigation, but not taken into custody.

Despite this, the motorist made a citizen’s arrest by documenting his allegations. On Wednesday, the D.A. threw the case out, which didn’t surprise Dre’s camp, who said that it was “ridiculous” to begin with.

Dre released his final album Compton last year. Upon its release, the LP debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

Now, Dre is working on Apple’s first scripted series, “Vital Signs.”
