Ty Dolla $ign and his brother Big TC are unified forces on a new protest song off Campaign.
Released in a three-part Instagram video, the clips show different victims of police-involved deaths. “They say that we’re all created equal,” sings Ty. “But ain’t nothing about us equal / You know that there could never be justice when killing us is legal.”
TC, who has been incarcerated for more than a decade for a crime he claims he didn’t commit, offers his perspective as well. “Some shit is getting worse,” he sings. “Before it’s getting better / It’s like the people have a curse, can’t nobody stay together / I watch you kill my people down, plus we killing off each other / Ain’t no justice for the brothers.”
So far, Ty has also released the Future-assisted title track off the upcoming project. Wiz Khalifa, Trey Songz, Travis Scott, Migos, and Meek Mill are also expected on the effort.
