The wait for Frank Ocean continues, but there’s some good news here. It seems fans may now also have a novel to look forward to as they await his new album Boys Don’t Cry.
A tech-savvy individual uncovered Ocean’s literary endeavor while searching the JavaScript code on Calvin Klein’s website. The “Thinkin Bout You” singer stars in the designer’s #mycalvins campaign.
According to Billboard, the statement within the code is a lengthy one. But there’s one particular part that has everyone talking.
“[Frank Ocean] is known for being a perfectionist and a pursuant of creativity in all forms,” it reads. “He resists pressure and follows his own vision. He has published a magazine and worked on a novel while continuing to perfect his highly anticipated second album.”
Earlier this month, Ocean teased a July release date for the long-awaited follow-up to 2012’s channel ORANGE. It was also previously reported that he was working on a magazine to accompany the album’s release.
