Future is no longer suing Ciara. The “March Madness” rapper has dropped his lawsuit against his former fiancée, according to TMZ. Sources say he did this to keep the peace with the mother of his child.

Recently, Future won joint custody of the couple’s two-year-old son, Future. An insider claims the Purple Reign MC doesn’t want any of his rights restricted and he feels dropping the lawsuit may help with that in the long run.

However, Ciara’s lawsuit is still on. The singer sued Future for $15 million in February for defamation, noting that he’s publicly called her a “bitch” with “control problems,” among other things. Soon, Hendrix countersued.

In April, CiCi opened up about her breakup with Future. “That wasn’t necessarily part of my vision,” she said. “But the moment I realized I was going to be a single mother, I had to reflect and reorganize my thoughts. I decided to trust that God had a plan for me, and move forward one day at a time.”

Ciara isn’t the only one suing Future. The rapper is also facing legal action from fellow ATLien Rocko, who claims Future breached their contract and owes him over $10 million.
