Reunited and it feels so good. Despite their past bad blood, Chrisette Michele and Rick Ross set aside their differences and get back to making hits.
Their latest duet, “Equal,” finds Chrisette singing about how she’s half of her man, and how ego doesn’t look good on people. Then, Renzel offers up an apology and proclaims his love for his “Aston Martin Music” collaborator.
“I’ve been in love with you for six years,” he confesses. “Since ‘Aston Martin Music’ / Drizzy came behind you on that smooth shit.”
“Equal” is the second single off Michele’s upcoming fifth studio album Milestone, which is set to drop June 10. The “trap-soul” project also features collaborations with Meet Sims, Mali Music, and LemPayne.
