The Dutchess has returned. After a lengthy hiatus, Fergie has dropped teasers for two brand new songs. The first, believed to be called “Hungry,” is a slapper that was previewed in a black-and-white visual.
“They know that I’m a problem,” Fergie Ferg sing-raps on the track. “That’s why everybody’s scared / Whatever doesn’t kill you can make you an illionaire.”
Getting seductive in an optometrist’s office as visions of lightning and fire flash onscreen, a fishnet and leather-clad Fergie also demands attention. “Turn the headphones up,” she commands. “I make the windows roll up / I make your hands go up / When I show up / And I blow up.”
Finally, as apples are sliced and as she cuts her gorgeous blonde locks, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman delivers this telling proclamation: “Hungry. Still hungry.”

Fergie also previewed another track during her Rock in Rio performance in Portugal on Friday (May 20). Talking to the crowd, the Dutchess confirmed her impending comeback. “You’ve been wondering where I’ve been all this time not performing, right?” she asked. “I think it’s time to give you a little taste.”
The song itself is a more mellow cut than “Hungry.” Though the title is also unclear at the moment, it could be titled “Just Like You.” “Look what you made me do,” she sings. “I’m crazy just like you / I’m tainted just like you / Just like you.”

Fergie has promised new music for some time now. Back in 2014, she said a new album might come the following year and dropped the YG-assisted “L.A.LOVE (LA LA).” While 2015 came and went without a project, an album was reported to drop in March of this year, with contributions from will.i.am, Mike WiLL Made-It, Rae Sremmurd, Charlie Puth, Toby Gad, and Nicki Minaj.
In January, she was spotted in Paris shooting the album packaging with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. While there, she also reportedly filmed a video with creative director Giovanni Bianco.
Now, with these teasers out, it seems fans can finally get excited about a Dutchess follow-up. After all, it has been nearly a decade since her last album dropped. Released in September 2006, The Dutchess earned some serious love. Selling nearly 4 million copies in the U.S., it also spawned three No. 1 smashes on the Billboard Hot 100 with “London Bridge,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Glamorous.”
