YouTube is getting Snoop-afied. In honor of April Fools’ Day, the online video giant has announced its latest innovation, SnoopaVision, with a hilarious rollout that includes a video starring Snoop Dogg himself.
So what exactly is SnoopaVision? It’s “the ability to watch every video in 360 with Snoop Dogg,” said Ben Relles, the Director of Innovation at the company.
Tha Doggfather also shared his excitement over the “new product” announcement, saying that he “coded the hell out of this software.” He added: “This technology is so immersive that sometimes, man, I forget if I’m in a video or real life.”
Fans can start watching certain YouTube videos with SnoopaVision now, but not every clip is part of the program. In fact, the company says Rap-Up TV’s latest interview with A$AP Ferg will be available in SnoopaVision by November 9, 2098, which is a very long time from now.
It’s clearly all part of YouTube’s April Fools’ joke. The company has long participated in the annual fun and in the past, it’s Rickrolled users and created #newtrends. Check out their latest shenanigans below.
