Wu-Tang forever. After dropping off his ScHoolboy Q-assisted single “Let It Bang” yesterday, A$AP Ferg delivers the video, an ode to the Wu and his uncle Psycho.
Young Dirty Bastard, Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, stars in the clip as Uncle Psycho. This makes sense, after all, because Ferg rhymes about his uncle’s similarities to O.D.B. on the track. The saga continues as the Trap Lord and Groovy Q sport matching black hoodie and mask combos right out of Wu’s Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) cover art. To keep the theme going, Fergenstein also rocks a neon green Wu Wear jacket.
The visual for “Let It Bang” also includes an intro, which could be a teaser for “Psycho,” another track about his uncle off his upcoming album Always Strive and Prosper, which also features Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, and the Future-assisted “New Level.”
Watch the video for “Let It Bang” below and get ready for A.S.A.P. to drop April 22.
