Is the OVO squad working on a compilation? While Drake readies his album Views From the 6 for April, ILoveMakonnen reveals that a group project is also in the works.

The “Tuesday” hitmaker confirmed the big news during his appearance on HuffPost Live on Thursday (Mar. 10). “A collaboration album? I can’t say too much,” he said. “It exists. We’ll just see when it comes out.”

When pushed for a date, Makonnen laughed, “Maybe October some time, right?”

He was more vague in a separate interview earlier this week. At the time, he told Montreality that the OVO compilation has “been talked about” but said “schedules and shit gotta line up.”

While it’s currently unknown who participated in the joint effort, it’s safe to say that it will include members of the OVO Sound roster such as Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, OB O’Brien, Majid Jordan, Roy Wood$, and newest signee dvsn.

But first, ILoveMakonnen is gearing up to release his own project, the sixth installment of his Drink More Water mixtape series, on March 18.
