Meek Mill won’t step away from the mic. The Philly MC, who’s currently serving three months under house arrest, is fighting to appeal a judge’s decision that prohibits him from recording or performing music.
The Dreamchasers boss reportedly has a studio in his home and would like to use it to create new material, but under his current restrictions, this would only further hurt his situation. As a result, Meek’s attorney Joe Tacopina filed the appeal, according to TMZ.
Meek is serving time under house arrest after violating his probation from a 2009 drug and gun conviction. The case is up for review later this year.
The rapper, who reportedly spent $75,000 at a strip club the day before turning himself in, also earned an additional six years of probation due to this latest violation.
