Tyga speaks. While in the midst of his “Rawwest Alive” tour, the star of the upcoming films Barbershop 3 and Boo! A Madea Halloween stopped by San Francisco radio station 106 KMEL for an in-depth conversation about a slew of topics, including his absent father, movies, and Kylie Jenner.

During the interview, he was asked how he handled criticism from people who said he shouldn’t have dated Jenner while she was under 18.

“I don’t know,” he said. “It’s hard to talk about that because people are gonna bash. I didn’t understand it though because I’m like, ‘This person is a really good person.’ It’s almost like, the devil keeps trying to tell me something to not follow God, just let God do what he gotta do. So, I don’t really know how to speak on that because it’s just something I have to deal with. A lot of things in life, you just gotta deal with it as it comes.”

Plus, find out what Tyga had to say about the media’s role in his beef with Drake and how Justin Bieber introduced him to Snapchat.

On his “beef” with Drake: “It was really never no problem. It was miscommunication. It was media. Then, once you get into the petty game, it’s just like let’s be petty all day. It was just media and stuff. We never really had a problem. Over time, people grow apart. You don’t know what the other side is feeling…and you just lose that communication with somebody. And then, we just linked up. Ye put us in the room when he had, I think it was Yeezy Season 2, and we just chopped it up for a long time about a lot of stuff.”

On his upcoming movie: “Me and my brother right now, we’re writing a movie and it’s gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be for the culture…This movie we working on is gonna be next level.”

On “Kingin’ with Tyga”: “We upping it up. It was on MTV2 the first time, now it’s gonna be on MTV. So, they gave us a little more money so we’re gonna have fun with it. We can live out the stories a little more. I never wanted to do reality TV or TV shows like that, but I had a lot of fun and people never got to see that side of me having fun and doing motivational stuff.”

On his absent father: “I didn’t have my dad around. Never met my dad…It’s times that it has affected me…Then I finally met him through somebody on the phone, but I haven’t built enough courage yet to see him in person. I don’t really want to know why you weren’t in my life. At this point, I just want to focus on my son and give him the best.”

On new music: “I’ve got an album in the works, but right now, I don’t want to announce nothing.”

On Kylie Jenner: “Me being older than her, I’ve been through a lot more things so I can help her more with it even though she’s been more in tabloid media limelight than I have been, but I can see that because I know what type of person she is. I know what she deals with.”

On Justin Bieber: “I was in the studio with Justin Bieber. It was like three years ago. We did this record and he was like, ‘Bro, are you on Snapchat?’ I was like, ‘What is that?’ He was like, ‘Snapchat. Girls, they can send you pictures and you can delete them and it deletes.’ I was like, ‘What is that?’ He set my Snapchat up for me and I never knew how to use it so I never used it…I had it for like three-and-a-half years. I just never knew how to use it. [Now] Snapchat’s cool.”
