Here’s a double dose of A$AP Mob. In honor of “Wavy Wednesdays,” the posse delivers two new songs including Ferg’s “Cut It (Remix)” and Twelvy’s Rocky and Nast-assisted “Lords Never Worry.”
Fresh off his remix to Rihanna’s “Work,” the Trap Lord takes on O.T. Genasis and Young Dolph’s “Cut It,” which turns out as catchy as the original. After claiming that his rent is too high and needs to be cut, “Master Bruce” raps about his deal with adidas, the late A$AP Yams (“Yamborghini’s with Aaliyah”), and how he might just do a song with Justin Bieber.
Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Nast join their Mob brother A$AP Twelvy on “Lords Never Worry,” named after the clique’s 2012 project. The song might sound familiar too, as it features bars previously heard on the crew’s 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher.
On the fiery track, Nast calls the Mob “the new Black Panthers,” Twelvy rhymes about how “the good die young,” and Rocky reflects on “years of oppression” and “setbacks.”
