French Montana is looking for “Sanctuary” on the sequel to 2012’s Mac & Cheese 3 cut. Over a sample of Utada Hikaru’s song of the same name, the Coke Boy reflects on his humble beginnings (“Stranded on the block / Mama workin’ three jobs”) and reprises some familiar lyrics from the original version (“Bring the drugs baby, I’ma bring my pain”).
Montana is putting the finishing touches on his sophomore album Mac & Cheese 4, which is set to feature collaborations with Kanye West, Miguel, Big Sean, and Travis Scott.
He can also be seen in Puff Daddy’s new video for “Blow a Check” and on the big screen in The Perfect Match, which hits theaters March 11.
