Will N.W.A reunite at Coachella? If Ice Cube has his way, yes.

During his visit to “The Talk” on Friday (Jan. 15) to promote his No. 1 film Ride Along 2, the rapper-actor revealed that he’s trying to reunite the legendary group during his set.

“I got some tricks up my sleeve,” he teased. “I’m gonna try to bring the members of N.W.A together—come with me on the stage. Give everybody a little history lesson on Ice Cube and N.W.A, Westside Connection, everything I’ve been doing over the years.”

N.W.A staged a semi-reunion during the BET Experience in L.A. last summer, but only Ice Cube, DJ Yella, and MC Ren were present (Dr. Dre was absent).

The Compton collective, who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, disbanded in 1995 following the death of Eazy-E, but have enjoyed a resurgence due to last year’s blockbuster biopic Straight Outta Compton. Cube was also eyeing a reunion tour, but it never came to fruition.

Coachella will take place on April 15-17 and April 22-24. In addition to Cube, this year’s bill includes A$AP Rocky, Rae Sremmurd, G-Eazy, DJ Mustard, and the highly-anticipated reunion of Guns N’ Roses.
