Now that he’s a free agent, Lupe Fiasco is doing things his way. The Chicago rapper will release not one, but three albums next year.

He took to Twitter to make the big announcement. “Attention Lupe Fans: 3 full album releases in 2016,” he tweeted.

The first album in the series will be Drogas. He also hinted that a sequel to his 2007 LP Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool was in the works and pegged for a Winter 2017 date.

“The Cool is dead….long live The Cool 2,” said Lupe.

Lupe’s last album, Tetsuo & Youth, was released in January and marked his final album under contract for Atlantic Records.

Before he drops new music, Lupe will launch his “Tour for the Fans” on Jan. 13 in Seattle. The month-long trek will make stops in Los Angeles, Houston, New York, and more through Feb. 13.
