Mark your calendars. Kid Cudi has announced a release date for his upcoming album Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven.
The double-disc set will arrive on Dec. 4. The first will include new material, while the second will contain unreleased songs, demos, rehearsal sessions, outtakes, and more.
Earlier this month, Cudi dropped a pair of tracks off the project, “Wedding Tux” and “Judgemental Cunt.”
“I have all the confidence in the world this album will change everything,” he tweeted. “After I accomplished my goal of making two back to back iconic classic alternative hip hop albums, It was time to explore and try new things.”
He also issued a disclaimer to fans who don’t like his “alternative” sound. “if you dont like what Im doin now, please abort the train,” he said. “Do not buy my music from here on out. Its not for you. No hard feelings.”
Speedin’ Bullet to Heaven marks the follow-up to 2014’s Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, which debuted at No. 4.
