Breezy season is upon us. Fresh off his two American Music Awards nominations, Chris Brown has set a release date for Royalty.
The R&B superstar’s seventh album will arrive on Black Friday, Nov. 27, it was announced today on Hot 97.
The album, which has spawned the singles “Liquor” and “Zero,” was named after his one-year-old daughter.
“There comes a time when people kind of have to grow up and become more of an adult and take on different responsibilities,” said the proud father. “I think this was just a blessing in disguise with my daughter because I get a chance to look at her and teach her the right path and also be a father in my daughter’s life.”
In February, Brown released his joint album with Tyga, Fan of a Fan: The Album, while his last solo album was 2014’s X, which debuted at No. 2.
