Dave East is on his way to the “Forbes List,” with a little help from his mentor Nas. East lets loose over tender keys and heavy percussion, describing a future where he’s on the pages of GQ and Forbes. His crisp delivery complements Nas’ typically gruff verse.

The song is East’s first single off a forthcoming 20-track mixtape called Hate Me Now, which boasts a metric ton of features from New York’s finest—Nas, Jadakiss, and Styles P all appear, along with Pusha T, Rico Love, and Mack Wilds.

Hate Me Now is a celebration for what’s to come, a celebration for where I aspire to go with my career, and the things I’ve gone through to get here,” explains East. “It’s definitely a transitional piece in my journey. Hate me now while you can.”
