It’s been a decade since Jeezy changed the game with his major-label debut Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101. In honor of the album’s 10th anniversary, the CTE boss looks back on the challenges he faced and how far he’s come.

The trap music pioneer thanked his fans for their support and reflected on his journey. “You can call it rags to riches, but I like to call it a boy becoming a man and believing in his dreams, goals, and expectations,” said Jeezy. “Here I am, 10 years later, doing what I love—motivating the people.”

To celebrate the milestone, Jizzle will perform the album in its entirety during a show at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre on Friday.
