Before the Fourth of July even started, Joe Budden and Meek Mill set off their own fireworks on social media. The two rappers exchanged fiery words after Budden criticized Meek and his relationship with girlfriend Nicki Minaj.

During his podcast “I’ll Name This Podcast Later,” the Slaughterhouse MC blasted Meek for going soft since dating Nicki. “Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this fucking sappy fuck-shit,” he said. “Be the hardcore guy that I’m sure she was attracted to at some point. It’s nasty. I hate everything about it.”

Meek fired back, calling Budden a “noodle” and described the time he brought Budden on stage at a show in NYC. He also took shots at Joe’s bank account and his waning rap career, telling him to stick to “Love & Hip Hop” and take his girl to Wingstop instead of Philippe Chow.

Meek defended his lady and unleashed Nicki’s legions of fans, the Barbz, who blew up Joe’s mentions with a slew of insults.

Budden jumped in to respond, telling the Dreamchasers rapper that he didn’t diss him and even slighted his rap skills.

Nicki eventually came to her man’s defense, telling Joe to stay out of their business.
