Hallelujah. King Los teams with R. Kelly on his new single “Glory to the Lord.” Over Da Internz production, Los counts his blessings (“I could have been broke in a Honda Accord / Now I don’t rock it if it don’t say Tom Ford”), while Kellz crowns himself the “R&B James Brown.”
“I feel like I’m expanding the conversation on God,” Los told The FADER. “I want the church to understand the streets more and vice versa. People give thanks to God in many ways and when you’re from a poverty stricken environment the way you embrace God could be offensive to others but you have that right to love him in your own way. I’m thankful because I was supposed to be a statistic, but now I’m the one who made it out. Glory to da Lord!”
Since splitting with Diddy and signing with RCA Records, Los has been working on God Money War, the prelude to his upcoming debut album. He previously released the DJ Mustard-produced “Can’t Fade Us” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.
