The Game and DeJ Loaf hit the streets of L.A. on Thursday to shoot a video for their collaboration “Ambitionz of a Rida.” The Compton kingpin and Detroit rapper got their Bonnie and Clyde on as they filmed scenes at Mariachi Plaza in Boyle Heights. Game got behind the wheel of his old-school whip and cruised the block, and later grabbed a bite to eat with DeJ.
The Tupac-inspired song (listen here) is set to appear on Game’s upcoming album The Documentary 2, which drops June 30. He has been in the studio with Kanye West, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, and Scott Storch.
“I feel like I could’ve released it after The Documentary, but 10 years later seems perfectly fine,” Game told REVOLT. “It’s my sixth album, my sixth solo album, and I think that the 10th anniversary is huge. And so why not put it out 10 years later?”
