It’s Flacko season. A$AP Rocky unleashes the jiggy video for his latest single “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 (LPFJ2).” The A$AP Mob leader mobs with his crew in the clip, which utilizes projections. The “Fashion Killa” then hits the laundromat—in a mink no less—and sips a 40 while standing on top of the machines.
“I wanted to make a fun lo-fi video using projectors and showcasing that fun energy,” Rocky told fans in a Tumblr Q&A.
The video ends with a dedication to A$AP Mob founder A$AP Yams, who died last month at the age of 26: “Always strive and prosper. Rest in peace A$AP Yams.”
Rocky’s sophomore album will be titled A.L.L.A., but he has yet to reveal what it stands for. The follow-up to 2013’s Long.Live.A$AP is “basically done” and will be executive produced by Juicy J, Danger Mouse, and the late Yams.
“It’s my best work yet,” promised Rocky.
