Tyga fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
The rapper’s fourth LP was scheduled to drop on Jan. 27 via his label Last Kings, but it has been pushed back until further notice. Tyga attributed the delay to his ongoing battle with Cash Money.
He has been trying to get out of his contract with YMCMB and took to Twitter in October to call out Birdman’s label for “holding him hostage.”
In the meantime, his joint album with Chris Brown, Fan of a Fan 2, is scheduled for release this spring. The duo recently shot a video for the first single “Ayo” in L.A. with director Colin Tilley.
The Gold Album has already produced the singles “Make It Work” and the Kanye West-produced “40 Mill” (go behind the scenes).
Starting Jan. 28, Tyga will join Chris Brown and Trey Songz on their “Between the Sheets Tour,” which kicks off in Hampton, Va.
