Before his sophomore album Mac & Cheese arrives in 2015, French Montana is serving up The Appetizer.
The prequel EP, produced by Harry Fraud, will be available on December 16.
Mac & Cheese, the follow-up to his 2013 debut Excuse My French, has spawned the DJ Mustard-produced single “Don’t Panic.” French has recorded over 80 songs and collaborated with Kanye West, Miguel (“Explicit”), and Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, who both appear on “Gucci Mane.”
“We based it on when Gucci went crazy at that one time, just like went bad on everybody,” French told Rap-Up TV. “The record’s like when you’re about to lose it—Ross on the hook, me and Wayne. It’s a crazy record. We gon’ blow their socks off.”
Starting next February, French can be seen on his “Set It Off” tour with Jeremih, who appears on his new single “Bad Bitch.”
The Coke Boy has also dropped a video for his remix to “Hot Ni**a” featuring Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel.
