Rick Ross

Fresh off the release of his R. Kelly-assisted single “Keep Doin’ That (Rich Chick),” Rick Ross paid a visit to “The Breakfast Club” on Friday. A slimmer Rozay, who has lost weight thanks to his RossFit workout regimen, sat down with Angela Yee and DJ Envy to discuss Meek Mill’s incarceration, Wale’s beef with Meek, and his seventh album Hood Billionaire, which is set to feature a collaboration with Jay Z.

On Meek Mill: “I talked to Meek three nights ago. My bro doing real good. The term I like to use is he real close at the door.”

On the Wale-Meek Mill beef: “They didn’t go through nothing really. Two, three minutes later, we always on the phone, and it was a whole ‘nother situation. We always just laugh and move forward. This the family, this the team. It ain’t nothin’ by love.”

On Wale’s outbursts: “That’s my homie. I’m wit’ him, I’ma enjoy it. As soon as you finish with that, he wanna go buy some kicks or something. He just a real smooth player.”

On his album Hood Billionaire: “This is for the streets. We feedin’ the streets. It’s gonna be most definitely heavy.”

On his new collaboration with Jay Z: “We takin’ it to the street, we movin’ base on this.”
