Kanye West and Common

Common put on for his city at AAHH! Fest 2014 in Chicago on Sunday. Fresh from his BET Hip-Hop Awards performance, the rapper took over Union Park for a star-studded concert featuring his fellow Chicagoans including Jennifer Hudson and Lupe Fiasco.

Dave Chappelle served as master of ceremonies, but it was surprise guest Kanye West who received the biggest response.

The G.O.O.D. Music chief performed “Get ‘Em High” with Common before running through a nearly 40-minute set of hits including “Jesus Walks,” “Touch the Sky,” and “POWER.”

Jay Electronica and Vince Staples also joined Common to debut the remix to his Nobody’s Smiling single “Kingdom.”

The concert was organized by Common’s Common Ground Foundation and Donda’s House.
