With three weeks to go until the release of her debut Souled Out, Jhené Aiko rolls out the studio version of the No I.D.-produced “Spotless Mind,” which she debuted at Coachella in April. On the breezy track, the L.A. songstress sings about her wandering ways.
“Started as a love song, 24 years in the making / Moving from place to place and I never really settled down,” she sings.
There is a second part to the song called “Eternal Sunshine,” both inspired by the 2004 movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
“Spotless Mind” is available as an iTunes pre-order, leading up to the release of Souled Out on September 9.
