Bobby Shmurda

Bobby Shmurda is dancing away with a record deal. The Brooklyn rap sensation has officially signed with Epic Records.

Epic executive Sha Money XL broke the news on Instagram, writing, “Deal is done @bobby_shmurda #EPIC no one does the underdogs better then me. Brooklyn this 1 is for you!”

The 20-year-old Flatbush native took the Internet by storm with his “Shmoney Dance” and video for “Hot Ni**a,” which flips Lloyd Banks’ “Jackpot.”

Shmurda has already received superstar co-signs from Beyoncé and Jay Z, who acknowledged the dance craze during their “On the Run Tour” at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

Drake also did the dance while hosting the 2014 ESPYS and Meek Mill brought Shmurda on stage at Miami’s King of Diamonds earlier this month.

Shmurda is putting together a remix to “Hot Ni**a” with French Montana and wants to work with Lil Boosie.

This is only the beginning for Brooklyn’s hottest new star, who has dreams of “drinking next to Diddy” and playing golf with Jay Z.
