Azealia Banks

Azealia Banks has been quiet lately, but she’s ready to make her next move. The Harlem rapper has dropped hints about her new single “Wallace.”

Banks, who just turned 23, recently shot videos for two songs including “Wallace,” which was filmed in front of a green screen in New York.

“Wallace is a man with a Rottweilers head,” explained Banks.

She also quoted some of the lyrics, “Hot Lava, Hot Lava, Hot High Lady Lucid, The City. … What What up, Rottweiler?… I might take ya to it, get readyyy.”

Her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste is still without a release date. The long-awaited project has already spawned the singles “Yung Rapunxel” and the Pharrell-assisted “ATM Jam.”

“Definitely hoping 2 completely transcend this kitschy female rap scene Ive been a prt of & move in2 bigger, more relevant social territories,” she tweeted.

Banks will perform this weekend at the L.A. PRIDE Festival in West Hollywood.
