Jazmine Sullivan is back. After a three-and-a-half-year absence from the music industry, the Philly songstress makes a triumphant return with her new single “Dumb” featuring Meek Mill. Jazmine channels her emotions and shows off her powerful pipes, singing about a man who thinks he can outsmart her.
“I know you know you ain’t right / Please stop, I know where you was last night / And if you’re gonna lie, then at least be good,” she sings over the marching beat, produced by Key Wane and Salaam Remi.
The song will appear on the 27-year-old’s upcoming third album Reality Show, due later this year.
In late March, she staged a comeback show in London. She will also perform at the ESSENCE Music Festival in New Orleans on July 3.
