Wu-Tang Clan and Cher?! You heard that right. The hip-hop supergroup has collaborated with the pop icon for their new album.
According to Rolling Stone, Cher has contributed vocals to two songs on Wu-Tang’s upcoming “secret album” The Wu – Once Upon a Time in Shaolin.
“She recorded her parts separately, so I don’t believe there was direct interaction,” her rep tells the magazine.
In a video posted by Forbes, writer Zack O’Malley Greenberg traveled to Marrakesh, Morocco, where he got to hear a 51-second snippet of the Cher-assisted song.
“Wu-Tang, baby, they rock the world,” Cher can be heard singing on the vintage-sounding record.
The group is only pressing one copy of the 31-track album and selling it to the highest bidder. RZA claims that they have already received an offer of $5 million.
