Boosie is getting back to business. After revealing the release date earlier this week, the Louisiana rapper has announced a title for his first post-prison album.
Touchdown 2 Cause Hell will arrive on July 15, he revealed during his appearance on “106 & Park” on Thursday.
It’s also the title of his upcoming tour, which kicks off May 2 in Louisville and continues through July with stops in Richmond, Memphis, and Milwaukee.
“It’s a classic, man,” Boosie told Complex of his first project since being released from prison in March. “You know, I ain’t wanna come home and play with the mixtape game and all of that. I wanted to come home and hit ’em hard, get that machine behind it, be successful and show the world.”
He has written over 1000 songs and collaborated with Jeezy, 2 Chainz, T.I., and K. Michelle, who appears on the remix to “Show Da World.”
“You just gotta pick the most explosive records that gon’ make this the best album in 10, 20 years,” he told Bow Wow.
In addition to Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, Boosie plans to drop a second album in December.
