With The Pink Print on the way, Nicki Minaj drops another bombshell with “Chi-Raq” featuring Chicago rapper Lil Herb.
The rap queen unleashes a deadly flow on the gritty track (produced by Vinylz, Boi-1da, and Allen Ritter), addressing her recent controversy (“Malcolm X’s daughter came at me / Lookin ass ni**as ain’t happy”) and ‘hood status (“Pop star, icon, but I send ni**as, come snatch ni**as”).
She even hints at more music to come. “I might give you a new trick every week until this album drop,” says Nicki.
The Pink Print is due later this year and if this and “Lookin Ass” are any indication, expect a much harder Nicki. “It’s more rap. This album is going to have a little bit of everything but more rap,” said Birdman.
