Ed Sheeran took the U.K. and U.S. by storm with his 2011 debut +. Now the “A Team” crooner switches up his sound with his infectious new single “Sing,” produced by Pharrell Williams.
The 23-year-old sings in a falsetto on the acoustic jam, which evokes Justin Timberlake’s debut solo single “Like I Love You,” while Pharrell provides the chanting chorus.
Sheeran’s sophomore album x (read as multiply) will be released on June 23 featuring production from Rick Rubin.
Tune in to “SNL” this weekend to see Ed perform the song live for the first time.
