Snoop Dogg’s beloved uncle June Bugg passed away on Sunday morning after a long battle with colon cancer.

June Bugg’s nephew Daz Dillinger tells TMZ that his uncle died around 9:30 a.m., right after Snoop arrived for a visit.

“June bugg jus passed @ 932 this morning,” tweeted Daz.

The 70-year-old was given one day to live last week, but held on for a week longer than doctors expected.

Snoop was the last person to see June Bugg and he reportedly happily acknowledged Snoop’s presence before passing on.

“Rip. Uncle. Bugg. U were everythang to me !! N like u said next time u c me thangs want b the same !! I’m so hurt !!!!!!:(” wrote Snoop.

Friends of the family expressed their condolences on Twitter. “Enjoyed watching big homie do his stuff on stage. Prayers 2 @SnoopDogg @DAZDILLINGER and family. RIP,” tweeted Kendrick Lamar, while Monica added, “All the laughter you brought will forever be cherished… Just thinking of you dancing makes me smile!!”

June Bugg was a fixture at Snoop’s live shows and would entertain the crowd by dancing onstage.
