Future

After debuting it live at SXSW, Future drops the studio version of his unreleased song “Good Morning” via Hot 107.9’s Durtty Boyz. The song sounds like a demo for Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love,” with Future even singing, “We be all night.” It was also produced by Detail, who produced Bey’s hit record.

Future explained the track’s origins. “I was recording with this producer by the name of Detail. We were working on ‘Drunk in Love,'” he told concertgoers in Austin. “We started working on this other record at the same time, and then once ‘Drunk in Love’ came out it pushed this song to the side. At the same time, it’s one of my favorite songs that didn’t make the album.”

Adding to the confusion, Future even released his own remix to “Drunk in Love” in late January.

“Good Morning” will not appear on Future’s sophomore album Honest, due April 22.
