While in town for her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” Beyoncé visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam on Wednesday. The “Partition” singer and her husband Jay Z toured the museum dedicated to the teenage Jewish diarist, who hid from Nazi persecution during World War II. Before leaving, Bey wrote a message in the guestbook.

According to the museum’s Facebook page, the couple spent more than an hour inside and were “very impressed by their visit to the hiding place of Anne Frank.”

A fan snapped a photo of the Carters as they left the museum. “Came to Anne Frank, saw these two too! #random #celeb,” wrote jedlogan.

Last year, Justin Bieber visited the historic landmark and drew outrage for his comments in the guestbook. “Truly inspiring to be able to come here,” wrote the Canadian singer. “Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Bey will play her second show at Ziggo Dome tonight before continuing to Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
