Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Mariah Carey returns with a stone groove smash for all the lovers. The big-voiced diva gets swept away by an intoxicating love on “You’re Mine (Eternal),” the new single off her first album in five years, due May 6.
“I can’t seem to live without your love / Suffocating here by myself / Dying for your touch,” sings an emotional Mimi on the hard-hitting ballad, which she wrote and produced with Rodney Jerkins.
Things get even hotter on the R&B remix, on which she trades passionate verses with heartthrob Trey Songz.
The video, shot at Puerto Rico’s El Yungue National Rain Forest, will premiere today at 7:50 p.m. EST on MTV, while the remix video debuts Friday on BET’s “106 & Park.”
