The show will go on. After being derailed due to damaged stage equipment, Kanye West’s “Yeezus Tour” will resume later this month.
Following its last stop at L.A.’s Staples Center on Oct. 28, the tour will pick back up on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The tour was put on hold after a truck carrying a custom-made video truss and circular LED screen was damaged in an accident.
Kanye decided to postpone shows until the gear could be repaired. “Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans,” said Island Def Jam in a statement.
The Chicago, Toronto, and Detroit dates have subsequently been rescheduled.
Due to routing logistics, the Vancouver, Denver, Columbus, Minneapolis, and St. Louis shows have all been cancelled.
