Chris Brown

There won’t be any tricks or treats for Chris Brown’s New York fans. The R&B singer has pulled out of his appearance at 92.3 NOW FM’s “Scream” concert.

The show, which was scheduled for Tuesday night at Roseland Ballroom, has been canceled due to Brown’s recent troubles. On Monday, he was charged with a misdemeanor after allegedly assaulting a man in Washington, D.C.

The radio station released a statement on Monday informing fans of the cancellation. Tickets will be refunded in full.

“Unfortunately, due to recent events 92.3 NOW’s Halloween show scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29 has been cancelled,” read a statement on the station’s website.

Danity Kane was also set to make their big return to the stage at Tuesday’s show. Aubrey, Dawn, Shannon, and Aundrea had been rehearsing for weeks and planned to debut new material.

They released their own statement and a video apologizing to their fans. “While in our final rehearsal for tomorrow’s show with Chris Brown at Roseland Ballroom, we received the unfortunate news that, due to circumstances beyond our control, the show has been cancelled,” said the group.

“We are deeply distraught by the cancellation as we’ve been working hard for weeks to record and rehearse new music for you, the fans. We were so excited to share it with you and are already working hard to find the soonest possible opportunity to reschedule.”

Brown is scheduled to host a Halloween costume party at the Conga Room in L.A. on October 31. At this time, the party has not been canceled.
