Who run the charts? Girls! Ariana Grande and Tamar Braxton earned the top 2 debuts of the week with their new albums.

Grande belted her way to No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Propelled by her Mac Miller-assisted hit “The Way,” the Nickelodeon star’s debut Yours Truly sold 138,000 copies in its first week. According to Billboard, Grande is the first female artist to debut at No. 1 with her first album since Ke$ha’s Animal in January 2010.

In the runner-up spot is Tamar Braxton, whose album Love & War enters at No. 2 with 114,000. The “Braxton Family Values” star also holds the top spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and the Top R&B Albums chart, marking the largest sales week for a female R&B/hip-hop album since Alicia Keys’ Girl on Fire in November 2012.

John Legend sings his way to his sixth consecutive top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with Love in the Future, which bows at No. 4 with 68,000. His last album Wake Up!, a collaboration with The Roots, debuted at No. 8 in 2010 (63,000). His previous solo album, 2008’s Evolver, peaked at No. 4 (133,000).

Jaheim lands the fifth and final debut in the top 10 with his sixth set, Appreciation Day, which comes in at No. 6 with 58,000.

Elsewhere on the charts is Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines, which slides 5-7 (57,000), while Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience moves 6-9 (38,000).
