Pusha T

Prepare for a G.O.O.D. summer. Ahead of albums from Big Sean and 2 Chainz, Pusha T has set an official release date for his upcoming solo debut.

The Virginia rapper will release My Name Is My Name on July 16, he announced during an appearance on BET’s “106 & Park.”

The album is set to feature production from Kanye West, Pharrell, The-Dream, Knottz, Don Cannon, and Swizz Beatz, plus collaborations with Kanye, Rick Ross, Future, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar.

“I like to look at the album as a fusion of four of my favorite albums,” he told Fuse, listing Biggie’s Life After Death, Mase’s Harlem World, and Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx….

He recently shot a video for the Don Cannon-produced “Numbers on the Boards” in Paris. It is set to premiere next week.

Pusha T can currently be seen on the road with Fabolous on “The Life Is So Exciting” tour, which wraps June 1 in Ontario, Canada.
